Itinerary
Start near the old quarter of Hoi An, then cross an old steel bridge across Thu Bon River to Cam Kim Island. Slide along the river and find out how locals catch fish with different kind of traps. Continue to ride on small country roads, passing shrimp farms, rice fields, lush villages and old temples.
During this Hoi An bike tour, you pedal through the narrow lanes and pass by picturesque rice paddies, charming villages, and lush green coconut palm groves. Along the way, stop by local craft workshops where you can watch artisans at work making traditional items like wooden boats, rice paper, and woven bamboo products.
Visit Kim Bong Carpentry village to explore the 300-year traditional handicraft with wood carving and fishing boat building.
Continue to ride through a vegetable village where locals farm healthy products with environmentally friendly techniques before visiting a craft family to experience the traditional process of making rice paper. You will also hand on the family’s activities and taste some delicious products.
