Beside the stunning views of the countryside such as rice fields, rivers, villages, etc., this ride offers a great chance to get deeper insight into local culture through visiting traditional villages and try your hand at the crafts.

Brief itinerary:
Following a small and quiet path, bike south-west on flat terrain through the countryside of Hoi An. This leisurely ride offers a picture of Vietnam’s typical countryside with green rice fields, meandering rivers, etc. Your first stop at An Bang Fishing Village offers a great view of the harbor, woven boats and an overlook at the local fishery. Continue to Tra Que, a well-known village for organic herbs cultivation.

The ride then leads you to a traditional lantern workshop where you hear about the history and art of lantern making. Make your own lantern with the guidance of an experienced local craftsman.

After a nice break at a local café, continue on the back roads towards Thanh Ha Pottery Village. Visit a pottery making family and try your hand at the traditional craft.
