Danang, Hoi An and Hue are the most magnificent tourist attractions in Vietnam, with colorful culture, friendly inhabitants and many stunning views, from green villages, peaceful rivers, palm-shaded beaches, golden rice paddies and mountains to splendid ancient architecture.

The 4-day cycling tour passes the most beautiful part of Central Vietnam with biking terrains varying from flat country paths to hilly and steep winding roads. The biking trip offers plenty of chances to explore the culture through interaction with locals.


Day 01: Cycling off the beaten track

  • Cycling distance: 30km
  • Duration: 4 hours
  • Grade: Leisurely - Moderate
  • Route description: flat terrain

Arrive  in Da nang and transfer to a peaceful village. Following a small and quiet path, bike south-west on flat terrain through the countryside of Hoi An. This leisurely ride offers a picture of Vietnam’s typical countryside with green rice fields, meandering rivers, etc. Your first stop at An Bang Fishing Village offers a great view of harbours, woven boats and an overlook at the local fishery. Continue to Tra Que Vegetable Village. After learning about the traditional farming techniques, you start your cycling trip, following a small road, bike south-west on flat terrain in the countryside. This leisurely ride offers a picture of Vietnam’s typical countryside, passing through green rice fields, shrimp farms, red-tiled villages, fish farms, wooden bridges across canals with stops at local houses to meet farmers and villagers., then we board a local boat to cross Thu Bon River to Cam Kim Village and enjoy a ride through nearby villages to visit a traditional wood boat building yard and many plantations, getting deeper insight traditional agriculture and local culture

Overnight in Hoi An or Danang.

Day 02: Cycling on the Ho Chi Minh Trails

  • Cycling distance: 45-50km
  • Duration: 6 hours
  • Grade: Leisurely - Moderate
  • Route description: 50% on short hills

Take a 2-hour transfer west of the bustling city to the Ho Chi Minh Highway, roughly coinciding with the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail during the war, then start the moderate ride on part of the Trail, passing many spectacular mountain views, crooked passes, steep hills, jungles, streams and hill-tribe hamlets. Dismounting, you will visit with locals and enjoy their daily activities through interaction and exploration. Your final destination is Village of the Ka-Tu Ethnic Minority with stunning landscape, colorful ethnic culture and warm hospitality. lunch with local food. Overnight in Hoi An or Danang.

Day 03: Cycling to Hue Imperial City

  • Cycling distance: 70km
  • Duration: 7 hours
  • Grade: Moderate - challenging
  • Route description : 30% on mountain  with 10-15km uphill

Start on the beach with easy biking in warm fresh air. After a few kilometers, break with a photo shoot at a picturesque fishing village. Then start the moderate terrain ride along zigzag paths with stunning views, jungles, waterfalls and beaches. The 10-kilometer steep ride up to the summit of Hai Van Pass culminates in breathtaking views. After a rest on the summit, enjoy an exciting downhill ride to Lang Co Beach for lunch.

Take a short transfer to Elephant Pass to avoid Highway 1’s traffic, then follow a quiet and narrow road along Tam Giang Lagoon, bike north-east on gentle rolling terrain, across bridges, past beautiful villages, green paddy fields, hills and farms.  Transfer onwards to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 04: Explore the Imperial city

  • Duration: 6 hours
  • Grade: Leisurely
  • Route description: Almost flat country roads

Your cycling trip will start with a leisure ride in the old quarter with a visit to  the Imperial Citadel. Then explore the old quarter situated on the side of the imperial enclosure, passing through mossy tiled-roof villages with nice lush gardens, ancient architecture and canals.

Continuously ride along the romantic Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s most significant sites of Buddhist worship. Follow narrow, quiet village roads to the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc with views of rivers, fishing villages, markets, temples and old houses. Finally, take a different route back to Hue. End of service
