Overview

This fantastic ride out to the relics of the ancient Champa Kingdomgoes through the countryside on back roads. This offers a rare insight into how the locals live now, and taking a step back in time by visiting the ancient temples.

Itinerary

Transfer to a peaceful village, we head off on small village roads and meandering dirt footpaths. We ride through an endless series of small farms and villages growing everything from sweet potatoes to peanuts. Then cross Thu Bon River to Cam Kim Island, stopover at the carpentery village to see a traditional wood boat building yard and handicrafts.

Continue to cycle on water palm shaded trails through scenic fishing villages, pop in at a local family to learn about their basket boat making, mat weaving and farming life as well.

Enjoy a refreshment at local café en route before heading up to the riverside and passing more stunning farms and rice fields that are nestled against the hill sides with lush jungles.   

Enjoy lunch with a delicious local dish, “My Quang Noodle” (rice noodle with free range cheicken and vegetables)

After lunch, take a guided tour around My Son Sanctury, a large compound of religious relics recognized by UNESCO as a world’s cultural heritage with more than 70 architectural works dating back to the 4th -12th century. This is illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a valley surrounded by mountains and jungles

Transfer back to hotel.
